If you search for Jeff Hannan on the internet, you’ll find that I’ve done tons of cool stuff…
Of course not - there’s several people! One or two are references to the real me. Most notable is a very old interview with me about the day job. But things have moved on since then, and I’ve kept my head down lately.
I’ve written this story because it is the kind of tale I’d like to read - the kind of adventure I’d like to have. We may see such events in our lifetimes, because the technology is not that far away.
And I’m hoping that this effort will place a marker down on the google pagerank database and keep all those phoneys at bay for a few months.
My space book
Writing a story like this takes up a fair bit of spare time (I’ve still got a day job, you know). So I’ve only just got round to signing up to all these social networking sites.
You’d think that a self-proclaimed seer such as myself would have forseen all this. Well, I think that by the 2080s, the form of these things will change.
